Maxine Gordon-Williams, AFC® — Financial Counselor
Maxine partners with our clients to build the everyday foundations of financial serenity budgeting, debt management, saving strategies, and the habits that turn a financial plan into financial peace of mind. As an Accredited Financial Counselor (AFC®), she believes lasting wealth begins with confidence in the fundamentals, and she meets every client with patience, encouragement, and zero judgment.
Maxine brings a distinguished three-decade career in business development and strategic leadership, having served as Director of Sales, Regional Sales Manager, and Vice President of National Accounts and Public Sector Sales in the commercial interiors industry experience that taught her how to listen deeply, negotiate skillfully, and build relationships that last. In 2021, she turned that expertise toward her true passion, founding a financial coaching practice dedicated to helping individuals and families improve their financial well-being. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Government from the University of Virginia and a Master of Science in Marketing from the University of Maryland Global Campus. Maxine is a Chartered Financial Consultant (ChFC® ) candidate, expecting to earn the designation in Spring 2027.
Maxine is deeply committed to service, volunteering with the Ovarian Cancer Research Alliance, supporting youth financial education through Junior Achievement, engaging in civic advocacy with the League of Women Voters, and mentoring emerging sales professionals at Southeastern Louisiana University.
Outside of work, Maxine enjoys traveling, gardening, reading, and cooking. She lives in Louisiana with her husband Erin and their Goldendoodle, Milo.
